Holden Patrick is a tall, dark, and handsome alpha male who will stop at nothing to protect the ones he loves. Holden's life began with him living in foster homes where he was abused until he was adopted by the Patricks, and his life was saved. Growing up, he never felt good enough and was always trying to prove to himself and his parents that he was worthy of the second chance at life they gave him. Holden met Camryn when he came to live with the Patrick’s and they became instant best friends. He knew he there was something special about Camryn since the moment they met, and she has always had his heart.When I was first of thinking of the type of character I wanted Holden to be, I didn’t have a movie star in mind at all, it was more of a look, like the handsome fella above, only maybe a little salt and pepper mixed in with a few hidden tattoosJ When I was creating Holden I wanted to show a strong, intelligent man who could be sexy and demanding while not being a total jerk. The harder part was actually trying to make him also be able to lay everything out on the table for Camryn without seeming like a total wimp either. Camryn and Holden have a complicated relationship. When they were younger, Camryn was the light in his darkness, and now that they are adults, he wants to be that for Camryn.Holden’s vices are his is extremely strong- willed and stubborn and can’t take no for an answer. He also is known to enjoy an old, smooth glass of scotch, pizza from Point Pleasant Boardwalk, ice-cream from Hoffman’s, and lots and lots of hot, steamy sex with Camryn.Holden’s virtues are his perseverance, his stubbornness, his love of everything Ellie and Sophie, his love of family, his dedication to helping others, his loyalty, and his friendships.

She enjoys spending time with her family, writing, and reading, but is always thinking of an idea for her next novel.
